Description
Spanish reading passages about being de regreso a clases (Back to School).
There are five short stories in Spanish. They are about the Primer día de clases (First day of school), La profesora de español (The Spanish teacher), El estudiante nuevo (The new student), El regreso a clases (Back to school), and Los útiles escolares (School supplies).
There are simple comprehension questions and other activities to check understanding of each reading passage.
All of the reading passages are written in the Simple Present Tense. See the preview to get an idea of the level of Spanish used (recommended for the end of Spanish 1 or as a present tense review at the start of Spanish 2).
These worksheets should only take 10-15 minutes each so are a great item to warm up a class or to end the day. You could do a worksheet every day (lasting a school week) or leave them as homework. These reading passages would also be great in an emergency as a quick filler and you may also find them useful to hand out to fast finishers (so they don’t disrupt others).
The reading passages, all questions and instructions are 100% in Spanish making it ideal for language immersion classrooms. Answers sheets have been included.
