¿Dónde?
DÓNDE is used when we want to know WHERE something or someone is.
It is to ask WHERE something is located or WHERE something is going to happen (or has happened).
¿Dónde? = Where
Just like other question words in Spanish, one of the vowels has an accent mark (tilde) over it, in this case the letter O.
Dónde + estar
Dónde is frequently followed by the verb Estar (to be) in singular form (está = is) or plural form (están = are).
¿Dónde está ….? (followed by a singular noun) = Where is …?
¿Dónde están ….? (followed by a plural noun) = Where are …?
